Industrial 5 Port Extended Temperature Conformal Coated Switch with Redundant RingThe Iguana Series IRE-321E and IRE-321EC are Industrial 5-port Redundant Ethernet Switches with three 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, two multi-mode fiber ports and Direct Ring technology.
The self-healing technology can recover from any network downtime in less than 300 ms. Modbus/TCP, Modbus/RTU and OPC are supported by the IRE-321 Series. SCADA applications can monitor the status of all Ethernet and Fibre ports utilising the Modbus or OPC protocols. With the fibre optic port, the IRE-321 Series transmits data at high speed for long distances of up to 2 km with an SC connector. The flammability protected entry-level industrial hardened Ethernet switch is specifically designed in applications where transmission must be protected from electrical exposure, surges, lightning, chemical corrosion and hazardous locations.
The IRE-321EC comes ready with conformal coating and extended temperature ranges of -30 to 75 C. In addition, the Iguana switches offer Ethernet isolation of 1500 Vrms and frame ground for EMS protection which is not a standard feature in most Industrial Ethernet devices.
