Industrial 2.4GHz 802.11b/g Wireless Indoor Ceiling Mount Access Point, with built in 4dBi AntennaThe Falcon series FWI-705 is a 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.11 b/g compliant Wireless Indoor Ceiling Mount Access Point for production floor and office installations.
The FWI-705 comes with a built in 4dBi Flat Panel Antenna therefore not requiring RF cable to be run to the access point. The access point also supports POE allowing a single Ethernet cable to be run to the device for both power and data connection. The access point comes supplied with a 12VDC POE or 48VDC POE injector for ease of installation.
The access point operates in three different modes, Access Point, Repeater and Access Point + WDS allowing the access point to be used in most wireless applications. With support for the common security functions such as WEP 64/128/152 and WPA your wireless network will be secure from unauthorised personnel.
