Alloy's FE-6590ST/SC Fast Ethernet Fibre-Optic PCMCIA Card is the perfect solution for connecting laptops/Notebooks to high speed fibre-optic LANs via a 32bit PCMCIA interface. Supporting 100Mbps, in both Full and Half Duplex environments, the single piece card features an ST or SC fibre-optic port and diagnostic LED's attached directly onto the PCMCIA card body. Extensive Network Operating System (NOS) drivers such as NetWare, Windows 95/98/2K/XP/2K3 and Linux are available. With its unique, robust, single piece design, the FE-6590ST/SC is easy to use and install. It requires no external power supply, but derives all power for the Fibre interface of the HOST system. Ruggedised Metal Fibre connectors on models ending in "R" are Ideal for use in mobile systems that may get moved frequently, and should avoid accidental damage to the Fibre connectors. The FE-6590 series has been supplied to military and government departments worldwide.
