Single Port Wirless Serial Device ServerThe Wireless Industrial Serial Server BMS-136WL is a gateway between TCP/IP via wireless and RS-232/RS-485/RS-422 communications.
The BMS-136WL makes it easy to network-enable serial devices to a wireless IEEE 802.11b or 802.11g infrastructures and allows almost any serial device to be connected to a new or existing wireless network.
By encapsulating serial data and transporting it over Wireless LAN or for security requirements by WEP or WPA2-PSK encryption,
BMS-136WL offers full-duplex, bi-directional data transmission transparent between serial port and Wireless LAN. In industrial and manufacturing automation fields, BMS-136WL is used for field devices to connect Wireless LAN through TCP/IP protocol directly. It is also specially designed for conjunction with PLC, HMI, Barcode Scanners, Data Terminals, Electronic Kanbans, Shop Floor Control Systems, and sensors etc. BMS-136WL provides a simple integrated configuration process and its embedded 802.11b/g wireless radio offers superior power and receives sensitivity.
